What is Leverage?

Using leverage means using borrowed money to increase your market share with a smaller initial expenditure. Prior to opening a Live account, the leverage is automatically set to 1:500.

We advise you to ask your mentor for help or do some online research to better understand the idea of leverage and identify the environment that will work best for you.

Depending on the Pair or Instrument you are trading, leverage varies. Your account's set leverage will only affect the leverage used while trading Forex. All other markets have a fixed leverage setting that cannot be changed. Please find all leverage settings below:

Forex: 1:500

Commodities: 1:200

Indices: 1:200

Cryptocurrencies: 1:100

EU Stocks: 1:20

US Stocks: 1:10

Agriculture Commodities: 1:30
